Welcome Kinesis friends and customers to the first edition of Kinesis’ ComputErgo Rx™ newsletter. Our aim is to briefly inform, educate, and occasionally even entertain you in the area of computer ergonomics. We will cover any application where people and computers interface intensively.

In ComputErgo Rx, you will find announcements for new products from Kinesis and from other leading companies in the field of computer ergonomics. In future issues we will include productivity tips, user stories, and applications to help you get the most out of your investment in ergonomic productivity tools. You will also see an occasional article from one of our affiliated ergonomic professionals on a topic of general interest.

We welcome your suggestions on topics of interest. Just click on the "Suggest a Topic" link to the left and let us know what you would like to see in a future newsletter.

Lastly, we abhor unwanted email as much as you do. If you do not wish to receive this newsletter, please click the "opt out" button at the bottom of this page and your address will be permanently removed from the mailing list.

We hope you enjoy the newsletter!

Kinesis Introduces Savant Elite family Programmable Foot Switches
The exciting new Savant Elite USB Foot Switch family builds on the six year success of our original Savant series. All Savant Elite models are factory-programmed to perform mouse button actions. Ergonomists agree that the ability to hold a mouse for pointing and not for clicking relaxes the hand, and can dramatically reduce the strain of intensive mouse usage. However, Windows users can reprogram each pedal to perform keyboard actions, including phrases or key combinations. Savant Elite models are available with one, two or three comfortable front-hinged pedals. Click here for more information.

New RollerMouse Pro
Kinesis is pleased to introduce the new RollerMouse Pro by Contour Design. The Pro's rollerbar is 67% longer than original "Classic" design and has two additional programmable buttons. A new companion USB keyboard is the first ideally suited for use with the RollerMouse. It offers “mild” ergonomic benefits in its "A Style” key shapes, which encourage users to have straight wrists yet requires virtually no adaptation. It is also ultra thin, creating a perfect typing height when used with the RollerMouse. And it’s affordable.  Click here for more information on both products.
Special Discount
For a limited time, we are offering a $25 discount when both an “A style” keyboard and a RollerMouse Pro are purchased together directly from Kinesis.  To order the RollerMouse Pro and “A” style keyboard from our online store Click here. During the checkout process, enter Coupon# XP34-JKCBC6 in the Redeem Coupon field. The coupon discount will be automatically deducted from your total. This coupon will expire on March 31st, 2005.

New Evoluent VerticalMouse 2
The VerticalMouse 2 from Evoluent is one of the best pointing devices we have ever seen.  It places your hand and arm in a “handshaking” position, thereby, reducing the muscle tension created in the forearm, neck, and shoulder by other mice. Both right-handed and left-handed models are available. Click here for more information.
